General Information

Treatments are based on the utilisation of the Gellért Hill hot mineral springs.

The water is slightly radioactive with calcium, magnesium, hydrocarbonate, alkalis, chloride, sulphate and fluoride content.

  • BALNEO AND HYDROTHERAPY:
    thermal bath, carbon dioxide bath, weight bath, steam bath, underwater jet massage, mud-packing.
  • INHALATION:
    In case of chronic catarrhal respiratory diseases inhalation with medicaments and saline solutions.
  • ELECTROTHERAPY:
    iontophoresis, ultra-sound, diadynamic treatments, four-cell bath, galvanic current treatments.
  • MECHANOTHERAPY:
    massage, medical gymnastics.

Contraindications

Hypertonia, tuberculosis, malignant tumour, hyperthyreosis, pregnancy, multiple sclerosis, feverish conditions, thrombophlelitis.
